I have to apologize for my lack of posting lately. I have no excuses. Not that anyone cares or notices, but an apology in is order either way.
I had an unbelievable conversation with one of my fabulous youth yesterday. And through conversation we wrestled with this whole Christianity thing. Why do we do this? Who really cares?
In our conversation, as we explored and dove into this harmonious weigh of here and there, one of the things we went about is the lack of care for Christianity or anything of significance for that matter.

I think this is the primary obstacle in the way of students of the current generation. In a life surrounded by television, easy pornography, and the most exciting video games, who really has the time for such heavy questions? And the problem, at least in my evaluation, is that we come to conclusions without ever actually exploring. In questioning her, I realized that she didn't miss opportunities to share her faith, it's that she's never had those opportunities because those around her don't actually care to ask the questions.
What.do.we.do?
*Love*
Jesus' single most important command was to love, nothing more. And I think the thing we're to do is lead by example. If we want to have those tough questions, we have to ask them, but without aggression. As your friends what they think faith is. As them what they think prayer is. As them who they think God is. But not as a loaded question, as if looking down the barrel of a gun while asking, but pure love and curiosity. Surprisingly you'll find someone curious.
Instead of forcing it down, let the coffee cool a little before drinking it.
